Northern Lights Car Chase

Led by an experienced guide, we embark on a journey into the night, in search of clear skies and the magical Aurora Borealis. We travel considerable distances to escape light pollution of Kiruna and offer you the best viewing chances. Our guides use their expertise in weather patterns and Aurora activity to select the best observation spots for the night. During the drive, you’ll learn fascinating facts about the polar night and life within the Arctic Circle.

Photography Support for Unforgettable Memories

If you bring your own camera, our guides can assist with settings for the best Aurora shots. If you dont’t have your own camera, you can rent one from us to make sure you can capture your very own Northern Lights memories (SD not included, but possible to purchase). To keep you nice and toasty while we watch the Aurora dance above us, we serve warm drinks during the tour. 

Essential Tour Details and Logistics

Pick-ups are available from Kiruna hotels, Poikkijärvi, and Jukkasjärvi. The tour starts between 19:00 and 20:00 depending on the time of year, check the calendar for specific dates. Please dress warmly with several layers as winter clothing is not included.
